- adults stifle imagination, creativity, sense of wonder; are data-driven and discourage instead of empower
- we need to be less superficial and less judgemental of others
- flower: pride, vanity, self-righteousness, guilts others, vulnerable underneath, needs constant attention
- baobabs: need constant tending or can consume you; responsibilities need daily attention before they overwhelm you
- king, conceited man, businessman, drunkard: all absurd, illogical, have no purpose, serve no purpose, don't make a positive impact or difference, spinning their wheels going no where, no growth
- lamplighter: selflessness vs selfishness; being loyal & faithful to something/someone other than yourself
- geographer: get out and experience life first hand out of the box; appreciate all that this ephemeral that doesn't last forever before it's gone
- we need to establish loving bonds with others
- snake: "all knowing", powerful, represents risk and death
- "lonely among men" while we are connected i.e. social media, we still create distance and division between us, as if isolated in desert
- while prince saw multitude of identical roses, we learn that all relationships are unique and special in their own way and should be cherished

- connections and bonds with others become unique and special and are to be cherished
- we are to use our hearts to guide us, our actions, to help us see clearly
- we are to practice mindfulness and being present vs going through the motions aimlessly, without any thought or direction
