Feb 27 Task Tracker FYI

Tomorrow, I will be returning some tasks that have been graded.  However, a large number of tasks remain incomplete and past due.  In the interest of starting term 2 on a good footing, I strongly suggest that everyone take more ownership for their own learning.  Ensure you have each task below completed, that is, submitted and graded.  Strive to be more diligent and consistent ;)

Using Movie Maker or Photo Story we can attempt to create a movie trailer to promote the Deborah Ellis's novel and showcase the journey and challenges faced by the protagonist, Parvana, and/or any woman in Afghanistan.

Watch a few current movie trailers to pick up key elements that are always included in any promo trailer i.e. movie studio intro, coming summer 2013, based on best-selling novel, movie stars, credits, appropriate background music, questions that the movie will answer, suspenseful scene that will generate curiosity etc.
