1. Despite her disabilities, Melody has
an insatiable appetite and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, new
vocabulary, oral communication, empathy, and understanding; she dreams of being
able to do certain things successfully.
Discuss an interest or passion that occupies your daily thoughts –
something you dream about, wish to pursue, develop, or just know more and more
about in every way possible.
2. Melody’s mom advocates for her daughter at all
costs to ensure the best for her – she is perfectly justified in doing so. Discuss what gets under your skin causing you to lose patience, yet feel justified in
doing so.
