Working collaboratively in a group of 4 maximum, your task is to create 3 short YouTube videos (5 mins ea approx) that instructs other Gr.7 students how-to:
- perform a translation (slide) of any shape of your choice on a coordinate plane.
- perform a rotation (turn) of any shape of your choice on a coordinate plane first about the origin (0,0) then about any fixed coordinate on the shape clockwise or counterclockwise
- perform a reflection (flip) of any shape of your choice on a coordinate plane both in the x-axis & y-axis
You are to demonstrate your knowledge of transformational geometry using a combination of regular grid paper w/manipulative & Geometer's SketchPad or iPad's Geometry Pad. Do use your math textbook/workbook as a reference for any questions to use in the how-to videos. Absolutely no faces, just voices and math. E-mail .mov file to stsimongr7@gmail.com by March 28th.
