Task: The Hunger Games
Goal:
To relate/draw connections to a text.
Task:
Katniss, the protagonist
of The Hunger Games, has been thrown into a challenging situation which was
clearly not of her own choosing. We have
seen that she has stepped up to face her challenges, asserted her skills and mustarded
up the courage within herself to overcome fear and failure. Discuss a time when you, a friend, an acquaintance,
or any fictional character was forced to face a challenge head-on and
find inner strength and self-confidence to fight and overcome it.
Success Criteria:

introduce person and their problematic situation;

discuss what person did to conquer challenge;

discuss what lesson anyone can learn from this.
