March 19-23

Dear Grade 7s, welcome to our new, wonderful school building! Things will take time to settle and ease into, but little-by-little it will feel more like home.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Let's begin this new chapter and stretch to June on a good foot.  Should you have any tasks up to March Break that still need to be completed and submitted, I would strongly encourage you to wrap those up as soon as possible, as they will affect your overall grades.  Please refer to the task tracker print outs provided to you today.  If you need any support/clarification, please see me.

This week we will:

  • continue with Numeracy: adding & subtracting integers
  • begin a new novel study: Ghost by Jason Reynolds
  • wrap-up Science energy transfer unit with 8.8 team task
  • begin exploring positive mental health
