Gr.7s, today we welcome Mr. Lupusella to our class. I am confident you will all work cooperatively and respectfully with him. No negative reports, no instagram, no gaming.
Italian 10.30-11.00 French 12.30-1.05
In regards to Art, if you haven't posted either the 3D hand or geometric art tasks from last Friday, I suggest you complete them before moving on. Use the boat on the shore posted near my desk as inspiration to attempt your own landscape (sky, sea, waves, beach, row boat) using a combination of pencil crayons, crayons and pastels. Paper on computer cart. Alona, Jessica & Rebecca may hunt down any other supplies you need.
In regards to Math, correct balancing the equations 2E-2H pg.85 workbook. Then move onto evaluating algebraic expressions (substitution & calculation) in textbook pg.280-281 #4-13.
In regards to Financial Literacy, finish read aloud chapter 1 pgs.8-10 and talk about end section entitled "Thinkabout...or discuss"
Monday morning at 10.30-11.30 we welcome Mr. Hill from St. Basil, Mr. Panettini from St. Phillip, Mrs Francis from St. Majella and Mrs Bucci for a co-teaching math algebra lesson. 10 girls and 10 boys will be selected to work on a collaborative task and learn to upload their solution to TCDSB's D2L dropbox cloud - something used in high school computer science & math classes. The remaining students during that 1 hour will be dispersed and will return later with the substitute teacher as I continue working with our guests.
